This unique chalet was built by the best local builders and craftmen, for a result that will go beyond your expectations. After a fabulous day exploring the Aravis mountains, relax in the sauna, take a dip in the beautiful indoor pool or just meet on the terrace for an "apéro" when you stay at this luxury chalet for 12 people.
Le Repos du Bélier is just a five-minute walk from the ski lifts and all the shops, bars and restaurants of La Clusaz. The shuttle bus also stops just outside the property, so you can just park up your cars in the large garage and forget about them during your stay. And despite its central location, you'll still be impressed by the wonderful views over the village and mountains.
This spacious, four-storey chalet also has a ski/bike room with a heated boot rack – everything you need for a great mountain holiday.
About the property...
Le Repos du Bélier is a state-of-the-art, four-storey chalet for 12 guests, with six bedrooms and four bath/shower rooms.
The main entrance is on the lower ground floor, which takes you into a hall with storage for coats and outdoor clothing. There's also a ski room with storage, benches and a heated boot rack. This entrance leads to a first double room equipped with a comfortable sofa bed. Venture a little further and you'll find the superb spa area, with a heated indoor pool with a relaxation area and the sauna. There's also an additional bedroom on this floor with two single beds and an en-suite shower room, as well as a separate WC. The tandem garage has room for two cars.
The ground floor is dedicated to the open-plan living area. Comfortable sofas and chairs are arranged around a four-sided fireplace, and there's a well-equipped kitchen with a central island, a breakfast bar and a wine cellar. You can all eat together at the spacious dining table or in good weather, out on the sunny, wraparound terrace at the front of the house. This floor also has a WC with a washbasin.
There are two double bedrooms on the first floor, each of them with their own en-suite shower room and WC. Both of these bedrooms have desks/dressing tables and doors to the balcony, and one of them also has a dressing area.
The two final bedrooms, which share a large bathroom with a separate shower, are on the top floor – the first one has a double bed and a dressing room. The second one, with its very comfortable sofa bed, desk and fireplace, makes a particularly cosy bedroom, but can also be used as a sitting room. Both bedrooms also have access to a balcony with the best views in the house!
All of the bedrooms at Le Repos du Bélier are individually decorated in relaxing, earthy colours and using natural materials that invite rest and relaxation.

La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

Note: A sixth double bedroom has recently been added to the chalet, on the ground floor. It's equipped with a comfortable 160cm sofa bed. It will be fully decorated in May.
The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

And as if that wasn't enough, it's also just a short walk from the lifts, shops, bars and restaurants of La Clusaz, a popular, family-friendly resort in the Aravis mountains.
You'll find the luxurious pool, relaxation area and sauna on the lower ground floor, along with a laundry room and the ski room.
There are two bedrooms on the lower ground floor (one with two single beds, the other with a double sofa bed), and two double bedrooms on the first floor, all with their own en-suite shower rooms. On the top floor, there are two more double bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
One of them has a dressing room, while the other one has a comfortable sofa bed and fireplace, making it a perfect additional living room depending on your needs.
On the ground floor, you'll find a comfortable sitting area with cosy sofas and chairs around a four-sided fireplace. The sleek, modern kitchen has everything you need to cook for your group, and a central island with a breakfast bar.
More formal meals can be taken at the large dining table or in good weather, out on the large, wraparound balcony.
There's plenty of room for two cars in the garage, and with all the facilities of La Clusaz on your doorstep, you can park up your cars and forget about them until it's time to go home.

La Clusaz is one of the most beautiful villages in Haute-Savoie. Its charm and authenticity will win you over, just as they did us 10 years ago when we discovered it.
Since then, we've been coming here regularly as a family in winter and summer to ski, cycle and do yoga, because it's a village that lives all year round.
We chose this plot of land to build the Chalet "Le Repos du Bélier" for its unique view of the Aravis mountains, but above all, for its very good location. The proximity of the village centre and the ski slopes meant we could forget about our car for the whole week and enjoy our stay in La Clusaz to the full.
We wanted a chalet that was both beautiful and comfortable, and we're sure you'll have a great time here.
